In 2007, I set out to photograph Nebraska for the first time, starting at the grave of the first Vavaks to settle here. This effort would eventually become ninety-three, a series with one photo for each county in the state. To celebrate the 10th anniversary of the first trip, I revisited some of the places I photographed to see what has (and hasn’t) changed. The result is called An Anniversary. The image from 2007 is on top and the image from 2017 is on the bottom.
