Driftin’

I’m on the road for the first time in 2026, a week-long trek to a few unexplored places in Wyoming, Utah, and Idaho along with a return to Yellowstone after nearly twenty years. It was that trip along with my first travels in Nebraska later the same year that really set me on the path that I’m still following.

The weather has and has not cooperated, as one would expect in Springtime at higher altitudes. The trip has largely been a success though, and I’m excited to share the photographs as the year goes by. Below are a few images from the first two days, both cold, wet, and very cloudy.

I’m currently in West Yellowstone for an extra day in anticipation of the weather cooperating tomorrow before I head home. Keep your fingers crossed.
