In awe of the past

I spent a day on my most recent road trip in central New Mexico exploring the petroglyphs and remains of cultures long past. It was incredible to be in the presence of so many forms of human creativity and ingenuity from people centuries ago. And all of this in such harsh, unforgiving conditions.
